no matter how life shows up,i still have to be hear.


it was scheduled months ago.they asked if i wanted to cancel because of dads death.


but i know hp is with me.

Hi Dalin,,, not only hear but id also like to know how ya look !!!


Can you send me a snap of you at the jam ????


When my pa died,, it wasnt known he would,,,


hed been thru a surgery and docs said he was doing well,,,then his heart got better but his kidneys began to fail !!!


Then one fine morning,,, before i could reach the hospiatl where he was to go thru dialysis,,,he died !!


When i reached ther the docs simply told me


""""SORRY BUT HES BEEN DEAD ABOUT 10 MINUTES NOW"""


I looked at him and thought


"""ohhhhh nooooooo"""


i was in a lot of pain that i did not feel then,,,,


 folks consoled me,,NA members stood by me,,, family was supportive,,,


but i was always thinking


"I WISH I HAD BEEN HERE BEFORE HE DIED"""


Acepting that situation emotionally took me a long time,,, iwas just baffeld and confused why I did not run to the hospital as soon as they called and said he was serious !!!


Forgiving myself,,,forgiving my mother who i believed could have urged me on,,,all this took very long!!!


Im glad my Pa saw me in recovery,, saw me do well in business and later music,, saw me doing responsible tings as a father myself !!!


Im so greatful that the last few years before he died we were very peaceful with each other,,, unlike before !!


I know the pain i caused him,,, and also the joy he got in seeing me drug free and responsible and productive !!!


So i see that balances out !!!
