Not NA but could use some ESH

Hello everyone, I normally post at the Al-Anon part of this site but I am in need of some serious ESH.  I also attend f2f Al-Anon and Naranon meetings.

My sister is addicted to prescription pain medications.  She is on a lot of medications prescribed by physicians.  However, they have her so doped up I don't know if she really knows what is going on at any given point.  One of the medications she takes daily is Morphine.

She recently had knee surgery and the surgeon did not want her to take the Morphine along with the medications he would be giving her after surgery so she took her medications to the hospital with her.  Needless to say she stays out in la la land most of the time.

She is now seeing angels dancing around people's heads and per my conversation with her today she is now visiting with her brother in law's dead wife.

I have enough of the program in me to know that I cannot change her but I am so scared for her.  We have been trying to save her from herself since she was 18 and she is now 58 years old.  I can't count the number of times that she has overdosed and nearly killed herself, five of which were this year and four of them she was within minutes of accomplishing it.

My question is this:  Her doctor is readmitting her to the hospital for a blood clot today, should I pass the information about the angels and the conversations with the dead along to her doctor or mind my own business?

Mobirdie, so sorry that your sister has to go thru such pain... I think informing doctors about any kind of interactions with drugs or addiction to a particular drug always helps... Will have your sister and you in my prayers tonight...
