The woman I picked up last night, to take to the meeting, she is really nice, but the first thing she asked was "do you have any valiums". She said her cousin may come to the meeting, but she'd been doing oxy.'s all day and may not show up. Well, her cousin showed up. After the meeting we were talking about doing drugs. and not in the I never want to do that again way, but the "oh wasn't it fun" way. They wanted to know when I got my next script, asking if I'd tried this and that.....well, by the time I got home I was shaking. you know that nervous energy, the kind you get when you want to just go out and get wasted? that's how it felt, I had to call my sponsor. Thing is i'm supposed to pick these 2 up and take them to another meeting tonight, but I don't think it's a good idea. I thought maybe I was supposed to be trying to help them, but I don't think it would feel this bad if that were so. I think they are both court ordered and not serious about quitting

I can feel you shaking and understand that feeling and right now you don't need that going on.
I say don't pick them up, obviously there not on the same course of action you are on.
People , places, things and situations, remember that , don't put yourself in a situation that is uncomfortable yet. You know it's not good so don't do it and when you pick people up that are still using you need another SOBER member with you Adriana.

Sometimes, when I don't feel confident enough to go to a meeting due to some reason, I always have the option of making an online meeting those evenings...

If you are asking an opinion no its not a good idea. New sick minds together are never a good scene and many of my early relaspes although always a choice by me were helped along by me bring around people i had no business being around. I was told the first year is abut me and I had nothing to offer anyone else. It was good advice because I did go through a period where I wanted to save the world and that could have lead to another relaspe. Remember they will get you high befor you get them clean.
