hi addicts.we had over 100 addicts at the n.a. campout.it was awesome.there were twice as many on the weekend.
it was out in the country,over 4 hours drive from toronto.
it was cool seeing folks from small towns who are willing to drive an hour to support local na groups rather than insult another 12 step group with our understanding of the steps.it is awesome to see na sprout and blossom,even out in the sticks.
that is how it was for me in mississippi.
never had any issues with other fellowships,i just refuse to piss on there traditions,and there understanding of this disease.
it is good to be home with my codependant kitty.
maureen worked steps with her sponsor.i relaxed,and ate to much.
no matter what,we can get clean and stay clean with the 12 steps and 12 traditions of n.a.
if a loser like me can stay clean,anyone that gives this thing an honest try can.
i bet my life on na...and it worked

I had one group some years back that I was pretty tight with a mens group went on a campout once and went to meetings on specific days with them then the group fell apart I relapsed along that journey but always felt at home going back now its gone and I miss them all, they were all great guys several have died i've learned recently.
