Hi; like your Avatar. Have you tried the image resizer from the Windows XP website. It's listed under powertoys. Once install all you have to do is right click the pic you want to resize and the resize option is in the existing box. Great for resizing alatar and pics for e-mailing without having to open a seperate program open the pic file resize then save. Welcome to the forum, sometimes it gets a little lonely here. Alot of newcomer show up wanting to get clean online so they don't have to go to face to face meetings. They get disapointed when told the Narcotics Anonymous program is in the rooms and in the basic text, one addict helping another face to face. Online is a nice supliment but not a substitute for meeting. Take care. Bob.

Hey Bob!

Thanks for the tip on the avatar...may take me a minute to figure it out! LOL  I am seeing what you are saying also.  I truly do love NA and I feel so blessed to be a part of it.  I just wish it hadn't taken me so long, but I guess that was the journey I had to take and thankfully the journey continues but in a much much more positive way.

Peace my brother!

Cindy

Hi Cindy; there's not alot of posting on this site but it's getting better.
Have you met Raman yet? He's a pool hustler and musician in Bangalore, India. LOL.
He's not really a hustler but he's a serious billards player. Take care Bob.

Ha,ha, Bob,,,,, howdoyoudo????

i dont mind you calling me a hustler,, ha, ha,,, its a nice compliment !!!

in fact youre one of those that knows the score !!!

im thinking of that  line in the movie,,,,

the hero is a very well known pool hustler,,, and he sets up the big fight but loses !!!

he and his two young supporters are totally upset by it !!!

then he makes that landmark statement =

'SOMETIMES WHEN YOU LOSE YOU ACTUALLY WIN"

(and then does magic later !!!after that humbling experience !!!)

now isnt that so true,,,especially seeing that in context of recovery i believe that when i lose my selfishness,, i win the hearts of my associates and family !!

when i lose hate and resentment,,,,i win my own soul back,,

etc !!!

and i really thank you for being there with your great messages !!

the one about the essentialness of face to face meetings with other recovering addicts,,,

the therupatic value,,,

doing something with a concious mindfulness !!!

I did get a mail from Cindy and want to thank her for it,,,

hugs and goodnite to you two !!
