I don't know what to do. I am worried about my family. They are concerned with another family member right now. I don't want my problem to take away from that person's difficulties. That family member needs that support right now. I also don't want to add the stress. Would it be terrible if I didn't tell my family where I was going when I left the house or would that go against the NA literature?
I imagine that your family will be relieved to hear that your going to NA meetings, they probably think your going out to get high. We think we hide stuff so well but everyone around us knows we have a problem before we do. Good luck and welcome home. welcome to Narotics Anonymous. Bob.
