Hello everyone!


Wow...aren't computers great.  What a wonderful way to stay connected.  My name is Cindy and I am an addict.  I have 4 and 1/2 years clean and for the first time I truly am living and enjoying life without the use of drugs.


I am just now getting involved with H and I and will begin to take a meeting into one of the local county jails and I am very excited about this.  I have done time myself so I know these women need hope.  I have also gone back to the penitentiary and spoke. What a weird feeling that was going back in, however a great feeling knowing I entered through the front gates and was able to leave! LOL.


I just wanted to introduce myself and look forward to hearing from other addicts. Peace my family!

God knows the effectiveness of one addict helping another !!!


Are you into jazz music ???


Thats one of the greatest gifts of recovery I have,,


listening, appreciating and playing jazz music !!!


and then came a time I realized that finding a God of our understanding is jazz,,,


i need to improvise and find a Power that works for me and depend on dogma,established religious belief, or anyone elses conceptions !!!!


At first it was the Group,, then the Program but the time i diod my fifth Step,,,


a distinct sense of being guided by a Higher Intelligence wAs felt by me !!!!


this loving and caring and intelligent Higher Power has kept me day after day and nite after nite,,,
