Hi Penelope; I'm an Addict named Bob from the American River Area. If your ever in the Sacramento area on Friday night come check out the Addict in Action meeting on Spruce. Bob.
Hey bob - I actually went to the "Speaker Jam" in your area earlier this year, and I believe we know each other from another recovery website.... narecovery?
I'd love to come to a meeting in your area, and if I am ever planning a trip to Sacto I'll be asking you where the good meetings are gonna be that night!
I was at the speaker Jam also, My firend David J was selling his NA Jewelry and they messed up his reservations so him and his road dog stayed at my place in Carmichael. Small world in recovery, take care Bob.
Bob... were YOU the person who loaded David J's merchandise into my SUV (With a handtruck) so we could take it up to Robin P. in Sugar Pine????
I know David J! He "stole" my sponsee to count T-shirts for him at the speaker Jam - LOL - she and Robin P. sell jewelry and merchandise for him in our region, at conventions, etc...
I'm wearing his jewelry right now, as a matter of fact.
If that WAS you, sorry we had no room for the teddy bears... it IS a small world in recovery, eh???? It might have been the other guy who was selling merchandise with David that night .. I dunno!
David paid for me and my husband to go to the Banquet and Comedy show in Laughlin last summer. Great convention - and I won lots of money there too
Are you coming to CMSRCNA next weekend in Modesto???
Penelope; It might have been me that loaded your stuff. David will put you to work if you show up, LOL. I was watching the Gold when he would go talk to someone and help customer. After the Fri meeting David took us out to eat in my Van, had a hard time finding a place open and kept me up way past my bed time. Next day tried to get me to go with them to Grass Valley but I begged off. I won't be in Modesto, my car club (Miatas) is partisapating in the Shriners Car Show at Mather Field here in Sacramento. But if you see David J tell him I said hi. I'm orginally from Concord, Contra Costa County. Moved here in 2000. Take care and have fun at the convention.
