relapse

I am trying to understand what triggers relaspe in my husband.  He has been dry twice for three years at a time. It's when things are going great with us and the money is good. It's when we have reach what we have been trying to reach!I would be very surprised if he went to  a counsellor. He has AAed for over 20 yrs. I'm not asking him to do anything. I know he has got to decide it's time, it must be his investment to work.  I did move him out and tell him, the kids and I will not live with it.  I think he's doing better. From what I can tell he's been drinking non alcoholic beer for about fourteen days.  I guess I need someone to tell me I'm not waiting on a lost cause.

I don't know that I can tell you what you want to hear. I do know that you should try Al-Anon, or a CoDependency program for you and your kids.
