Trying to find a sponsor

Hi. I'm an addict and my problem is Whitney. I'm 3 months out of treatment and currently am attending local NA meetings, but there aren't many women that show up to them. The ones that do never hang around long and I can't seem to find a reliable sponsor. I'm trying to do this thing right and I feel confident in my ability to stay clean with the fellowship of NA and a sponsor I can jive with. If you are willing to take me on I'd be so grateful. So that I can't help you but I am confident that you will find a sponsor.
In the old days, when there were fewer women in NA, sometimes men sponsored women.
That is not the ideal situation but it has worked for some.
Hopefully, you will find a female sponsor.
Keep going to a variety of meetings.

Hi Whitney.

We hear you, it is harder to find a female sponsor. Seems to me most meetings in my area are 80%+ male attendance. And add in that this site's traffic is down 90% or more, and well, you might be better off asking elsewhere. We'd suggest keep going and you will find a sponsor.

I will say that's the most gracious on line request for a sponsor I've ever heard!!
