Looking for a Dependable Online Sponsor

Hello-

I have been unable to find a dependable sponsor to help me with my NA recovery. I currently live in New Mexico but have an open CPS case in California for my daughter. On my case plan, they have requested that I find a sponsor and submit name and phone number to my child's social worker for proof that I am actually working through my recovery. I am seeking someone preferably in California or New Mexico, but just in the US is okay, that would be okay with this.

I lost my daughter after doing a line of what I thought was cocaine. It must have had bath salts or PCP or something in it because for 3 days after that line I was hallucinating and hearing things, I had delirious notions of reality. I didn't abuse my daughter in any way, but I was sitting at a coffee shop in Santa Cruz, CA yelling at people, I guess, so they called the cops and that's how I lost her. I am not in any way proud of what I did, and I am determined not to use at all anymore. I want a sponsor that understands that I am not a habitual user (I don't use every day) but I definitely need to redefine my definition of "fun". I would do drugs on my birthday or other special occasions, and I am currently smoking marijuana but trying to find ways of limiting that as well.

I don't really want to get into my problems any more here in public, but I would really appreciate it if any interested sponsors would please respond here and email me at anastaysiag94@gmail.com

Thank you so much for your help in advance!

Have you tried going to NA meetings? You could find a sponsor there. You don't have to use everyday to be an addict. An addict is someone who cannot control their use of drugs for any length of time and whose life becomes unmanageable as a result of drug use. Marijuana is a drug too, BTW.
