For those of us living in the United States of America today celebrates our Nation's Declaration of Independence from a Government's tyranny and absolute Despotism. Because of this the foundation was laid of a Free country where an entity such as NA could form where those suffering from another form of bondage could be free. Today I celebrate my Nation's Freedom since July 4, 1776 and my Freedom from Action Addiction since November 27, 1980.

I also share that freedom which I see dwindling away before my very eyes one Amendment at a time , incrementally . I hope it never gets as tyrannical as it was during British rule.
So I am sharing my 9 th year of freedom tomorrow July 5th 2007 :) may our unalienable rights always be protected so that our freedoms endure time and politicians.....
My home group is the Free At Last Group...and every Martin Luther King Day I get choked up when I hear the replay in MLK's Voice..."Thank God Almighty, I'm Free At Last, I'm Free At Last"!!!
Amen Awesome Vince on 9 years of daily Freedom..Good post Mike M..............as a Veteran of the Vietnam era (65-72) and a veteran of the 'drug wars" I thank God daily for freedom,,that as we all know didn't come free ....it took and takes daily work in our Solution..the STEPS applied in all areas of our lives ,Guided by our Higher Power, knowing there can never be a "first one again " for us...Keep doing the work!!!
