I still want to bear fruit!

Sometimes allowing God to trim away the temporary in order to allow the permanent to grow can be a frightful process. Just remember that it is in Christ that you move and have your being! John 15: I am the vine you are the branches, apart from me you can do nothing. When we stop producing fruit there is a stripping away process that needs to happen in order for us to remain healthy, happy and whole. God will cut away certain things from our lives, things we may be proud of and may even think define us and gives us security. As difficult and frightening as it may feel we have to let go. In order to receive what is permanent fruit, we must release what is temporary as we trust God to sustain us, as He strengthens us to bear more fruit. Dont be afraid of the process. Just remember you are in the Masters hands!Just as important you are apart of the Vine! We are meant to be the best we can be and then help another do likewise! In recovery it is the final step to being whole. Being able to to bear fruit to share the gift of recovery is as much for us as it is for those we share with! So God take what little I have, and do what you will.Little is much in the Masters hands, and I still wanna bear fruit!
