Doing much better now. 10 days after second surgery. I had the feeding tube removed last thursday (a week ago), much progress since then. Gained 7 lbs.
Went to the Gym yesterday. Life is pretty much back to normal. I was only able to take the pain meds for 3 days after surgery as they were making me ill. 10 days off of them now, still have pain but advil is working. So now from experience (3rd surgery this year), I will have a 3-6 month period of a tendency to feel negative and be short on patience / tolerance, while my brain and body detox and regain an equilibrium. So I will need to be using the tools of the program daily to avoid negative thinking. I'm now on a 5 year treadmill to be clear from this, and being negative has no part in that process.
Thanks for the well wish, thoughts and prayers, every bit helped.
