I'm wondering about the process most groups use for electing Trusted Servants - specifically, is there an order that most groups follow or that world follows? I'm looking for something like the following:
1. read the Trusted Service position description, length of term, clean time requirement.
2. ask if there are any volunteers
3. ask if there are any nominations (ask each person if they accept the nomination) - which do you ask for first, volunteers or nominations?
4. ask each volunteer/nominee to qualify him/herself
5. ask the group if there are questions for any of the individuals (OR do you ask susie to qualify herself, then ask if there are questions for susie before asking johnny and jimmy to qualify themselves?)
That's how it's done with larger groups, especially at an area level . In ours hg it's much less formal. If someone volunteers, we all cheerI in approval... and they move in
