Many are aware of the struggles I've endured for the last several years with my son, often bringing me to the brink of my sanity and pushing my 'pick up' button more times than I ever thought was possible for some who has been free of active addiction for as long as I have.
It's taken my son two extra years working though his own drug usage issues and anxiety and behavioural disorders to see this day but he did it and received his diploma on June 19th, 2014!!
Yeah, I'm so proud and wanted to share this very special moment with you all because had I not been able to come and vent with you, I may not be reaching 20 years of freedom this August!
I suspect there's a new adventure waiting for me as we work to get him on the road of self-employment but I'll enjoy this for the time being!
Amen Kitty,,you know where your strength comes from.....An active daily journey into our 3rd/11th STEPS helps to give us that guidance and strength to pull us through the storms of LIFE..Proud of your son(I can identify as we have shared on this before)and will continue to lift you and your family in thought and prayer..Have a blessed and productive day.....:)
