Suboxone and high blood pressure

Hey!

I'm new to this site...and new to Suboxone withdrawals, too!  I've been off of them since April 19th and WAS in an inpatient rehab for three weeks. I started to realize about 3 weeks in that something was SERIOUSLY strange with my system.  Asked to have my blood pressure tested.  It swings between 145/74 to 178/110. The rehabs solution was to ask ME what I wanted to do.  I was SO inspired, I left immediately and came home to get better medical attention.  I am SOLID in my program and mentally and emotionally pretty stable, considering I had 2 hours sleep and was eating about 600 calories a day.

I'm taking the lowest dosage of clonodine, which lowers it but no where NEAR normal.

Anyone have some info on Suboxone and high BP??  I was on 4 mgs a day for over 3 years for "pain maintenance' which I understand is outrageous.  Subs are used for SHORT periods of time now...I've had doctors sign off on the 'maintenance' for WAY too long.

I'd like some HONEST info, not 'doctor speak'....

Thanks!

This is a forum for recovery from addiction through the 12 Steps of NA.
If you want experience, strength and hope on that topic, I'll offer it.
I don't give medical advice.
