Well i started early but Im working on my diet and eating and changing bad habits like fast food, I have started a ritual of having a smoothie every morning and one in the afternoon and already have dropped weight and feel better, things change after 50 kids :)
I think the new year is a good time to reflect on the last but dont waste a lot of time, theres a whole year ahead to deal with
My News Years resolution is to become more God centered today, more honest today, more at peace with myself today, more accepting of others as well as well as myself today than I was yesturday ..... and more God centered tomorrow, more honest tomorrow, more at peace with myself tomorrow , and more accepting of others as well as myself tomorrow - than I am today!
May the new year to come be all that you hope for, all that you dream of and all that you're willing to work for! HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I'm with David, I don't make yearly resolutions, mine are daily and based on trying to be all the God of my understanding intended me to be to the best of my ability. .That's plenty of daily work for this ole hardhead..........Good to hear from you...Heard from Manon couple weeks ago ,that was great.. Today I am celebrating my 29th year anniversary, freedom from active drug addiction, with another at a local afternoon meeting.. They celebrate anniversaries on the last day of the month......Nice way to bring in New Year though my actual date was the 2nd ,almost a month ago. .For me ,everyday in recovery is a celebration............Happy New Year....Be blessed..

Our purpose is to remain clean, just for today, and to carry the message of recovery.
I hold fast to the belief that to resolve once a year subconsciously limits the mind in making healthy, positive changes throughout the year and with that, I have a list of lifestyle modifications I've always got in the works. I'll continue on implementing those wherever the day takes me, always looking to enrich my life in some form or manner.
Every week I pray for the strength and courage to fulfill all the roles (e.g. mother, daughter, sister, friend, co-worker, etc.) that my HP has gifted my with and to nurture this prayer would be my priority!
Blessings to everyone as you journey into 2014~!

I am sorry to hear that Avid, what a day for you i'm sure, god Bless.
Liz, I don't do resolutions. I have found they come with unrealistic expectations for me.
Avid, sorry for your loss.
Hugs everyone and Happy New Year!
Sarah
