Hello everyone. My name is Kristina. I'm 37 days clean from opiates. I currently live on Long Island, NY but moving to Jewett City, CT on Thursday. Hoping to connect with others from CT considering I will be new to the area.

TeeTee... so glad that you are here and congratulations on 37days clean from all mind altering, mood changing substances. I hope that you have a smooth move to CT and everything goes well for you. If it is your desire to connect with others....you will have no problem. Keep coming back and hang in there. I remember when I first came into the rooms 7/2000. I was scared to death and had no idea how the heck NA was going to be able to help me when I had been put in treatment centers more times than I can count, been to prison five times and lived on the streets for 18yrs. Nothing, until I came to NA was ever able to help me to get even one day clean much less 13yrs. I am so grateful for the rooms of NA and this can be your miracle as well as long as you choose to stick and stay.
Thank you so much. I truly appreciate it. And thank you for sharing some of your story. I had a relapse in September where I even OD'd on 9/11 from heroin. I look at that as a blessing in disguise now. I was given a second chance to live and get this right. I'm here to stay. Going to put my all into my recovery 24/7. I'm ready to live the life I always dreamed of, happy with my husband and my 2 daughters.
