Amazing? Absolutely and not at all, a wonderful paradox. Today I can imagine and plan for many things. Reflecting back imagining staying Clean at all was an impossibility. It took me hitting multiple meetings every single day, hitting all those meetings loaded, for three weeks before the Miracle of One Day Clean became a reality, THE GIFT of Freedom from Having to use freely given me by my Higher Power lifting the terrible weight of the Monkey off my back. The simple concept of One Day at a Time is no small thing, it is the foundation of Everything, every possibility. By the Grace of my Higher Power whom I choose to call God through the Power of NA that first One Day Clean has become over 33 years of One Day at a Times Clean. My Gratitude for such a Miraculous Gift speaks when I care and when I share the NA Way. Not just a trite saying! NA Works if you Want it bad enough and Work it like it's taking your last breath, no bull and no excuses given or taken. When I finally Unconditionally Surrendered I Win the Monkey looses.

 

Hold on tight to the precepts of NA, it's a helluva ride!
