In Bangalore, India area, about 100 of us gathered for sharing, dinner and a telephone hook up with World Convention, Philly main share and regional countdown. It is also our local area annivrrsary (21) and we celebrated that too. We were Blessed with 7 newcomers too !!! What did you guys do ?

I wonder what congress would say if instead of military action against Syria Mr. Obama suggested
that congress and the administration joined hands in unity and prayed for peace?

Happy World unity day to you too! Avid- I heard something amazing yesterday that relates to your post. A man from Ohio said something along the lines of, "If the world leaders, if the people, if everybody was actively working a12 Step Program with spiritual principles in their lives, we would have peace on earth". I thought that was pretty cool, and true! People who work the steps and principles, from what I've seen, just generally seem to be such peaceful and good hearted. It's like-the feeling I got when I first met the people in NA, the attraction, the longing for true happiness and goodness from the inside radiating out. Peace on earth!
