An old line from Steve Miller Band(we used to cover)talking about flying like an eagle..Reminds me of one of my favorite spiritual readings I would use especially on Marathon days to remind myself of life with God's (of my understandings) strength and guidance.Would read..'BUT THOSE WHO HOPE IN GOD,WILL RENEW THEIR STRENGTH,THEY WILL SOAR ON WINGS LIKE EAGLES,THEY WILL RUN AND NOT GROW WEARY,THEY WILL WALK AND NOT GROW FAINT" by mile 25 The words were so relevant...... ( TODAY my wife and I celebrate our 29th anniversary and are truly humbled and grateful for being able to slip into the future guided by God's grace and sharing our message of HOPE from a married viewpoint(my 3rd marriage after one of 10 years and one of 2 years,while caught in the grip that was doomed to failure as I continued to slip into the darkness(WAR, a beautiful song we also covered)Today WE celebrate a union joined by God and a LIFE blessed by daily recovery and continued work in the solution the NA way...TO THOSE WHO MAY BE HERE FOR 1ST TIME,JUST COMING BACK OR ON THE EDGE OF MAKING THAT ACCEPTANCE OF UTTER DEFEAT AND SEEKING THE SOLUTION welcome,,,,To those who continually apply the application into all areas of THEIR lives and give back freely also WELCOME...
