In 5 days,my son from NewYork and his girlfriend coming to stay with us for 3 weeks and my other 46 year old son coming in 8 days from Tejas to meet his family he never met(from my 1st of 3 marriages)I am an addict named Mike in recovery for many cups of coffee, my 27 year old son Eric going in his 4th year of recovery from Heroin addiction after 7 long devastating years and my oldest son,just divorced after 23 years of marriage,showing real signs of active drug addiction all brought together by the God of our understandings grace and mercy. I am so thankful for the opportunities to share LIFE with my children,all of us once broken people and coming together to share our ESH..Living the NA way of life for many years,guided by God has allowed me hold, kiss and hug my children once again and to feel the love of God and the spiritual blessings of being lifted from the muck and mire and my feet placed on higher ground to share this love. Just For Today,I have another opportunity to be that vision of HOPE, that example that our program(NA) does work and being attraction to those who may still be suffering(my oldest son)I make a renewed effort to instill especially our 3rd/11th Steps into the actions,attitudes and behavior of this LIFE I have been given..If you are new here,to the program and fellowship or just coming back WELCOME.If you been around for a minute WELCOME....be blessed and have a productive day!!!
