Just wanted to say hello to and Happy Holidays. Have been looking around at a lot of recovery sites and this on seems to be interesting and very supportive. Hope everyone has a Happy New Year and will follow all your postings in the future.
Hi Thanks everyone for the hello! Hope eveyone survived the holidays sober and clean and happy. I had a good xmas tho I was driving for 7 hours returning my children to their mother. It was great to have them for Xmas eve. We enjoyed oppening presents and eating a dinner together. Fiancee and her children were there also. It was a little different this year celebrating at home rather than with my side of family this year but was ok because God was there and that is what really counts. I am coming up on 5years clean and sober in April and recovery just keep getting better as long as I stay out of the driver seat and accept what God presents me everyday. Though, I have to admit some days I have to work at seeing the good that God is showing me. But it is never an empty day as long as I am Honest, Open And Willing to look at it right.
