You are in a tricky situation and  I can identify with an A.A. sponsor not working for you,I had a similar situation early in my recovery.....There are major differences in how the step work is appoached and the major difference on the premise of Addiction as a disease and Alcoholism 5th traditon and 12 steps also have a different focus .My first sponsor in '84 a mid 80 year old man was from A.A.Have you tried Helpline in your area?I dont see where you live so you can also go to www.na.org and google a meeting in your area...Also sometimes H&I Will bring NA into hospitals and facilities for meetings,you could check those facilities out.Online Sponsorship is also available but not sure again whats in your area.Dont lose faith ,congrats on 7 months clean,truly a miracle for us addicts..Do you have a Basic Text and our other literature?I dont recommend self-sponsorship,but the STEP WORKING GUIDE will give you a good bit of info and allow you to answer questions and help you go inside your own addiction,it is an in depth study.Wasn't available when I went thru the steps for 1st time,but I have since also worked again through the guide.  If not you can also google that at the link I put up.Periodically if I am in an area that is sparse on NA I may make an A.A meeting and listen. I would suggest continuing contact with the few other addicts you have already met from NA  ..Not a lot of interaction here in last year from female participation but I would suggest keeping in touch here and maybe someone will be able to offer help okay....Good job reaching out,pray and remain clean and more will be revealed.Let us know how it goes okay..Check the website see if you can find any help.Look thru this site also for other help situations,chats,etc....Peace..
