  I too have an opiod addiction, am a mom of two girls, and divorced.  Alone is pretty much how I feel all the time.  I used the drugs to

try and squash the alone feelings and hurt my family. The shame and guilt I feel right now is terrible.  I'm afraid that the people I've hurt

won't love me any more and will never respect me again.  I feel like such a loser.  Ironically, my self esteem was in the toilet so...I used

drugs to try and smother those feelings too.  Anyone else new here and know where I'm coming from?  Esp. re. the shame and guilt.
