If you could see their faces light up, the smiles cross their lips, as they eagerly rip open and read each card aloud to the rest of the guys...
Without a doubt, showing them their new family of recovery reaches far across the land really is having a impact on them. Everyone who has participated in sending them xmas cards and holiday greetings has truely reached their hearts and lifted their spirits.
I am blessed simply because I get to be the "fly on the wall" as they get, open and read these beautiful cards. Many of you have sent a strong message in caring words, sharing your own experience, strength and hope that I venture to say, several will carry with them well into their recovery as they venture forward from here.
