"Hi all. Greetings to the Kettle Moraine area NA.
My name is raman and Im an addict, clean and serene in the NA Program. I live in India in a city called Bangalore and Ive been a member of NA for almost 25 years. I do meetings here and have sponsored and served for nearly 23 years now.
One of my major, everyday commitments is to an internet recovery space called Miracles In Progress. That group of recovering addicts have sustained my recovery for nearly 8 years now. I read and share a lot there, almost everyday.
Now this last week we had a request from a guy in the corrections center to reach out to him. Here are the details;

The basic request was to write him a letter. Im certain to do that, but as snail mail takes awhile, he may lose hope. My sinciere and humble request to your H and I is to write him a letter or meet him. Attached you'll find a document that describe what you will need to do in order to get clearance.
Thats all in this mail and please be so kind as to acknowledge my mail with a reply from your side...

Just got a letter from Jacob he said he was still clean and sober and is looking forward to hearing from people about Recovery. Jacob's Birthday is on Oct. 12th if you want to wish him better days and share your E.S.H. with him :)))
They wont allow email, as far as I can tell. And snail mails too slow to reach Wisconsin from India in just a day. So heres the next best thing, I hope youll agree to do it.
Next time you visit him or meet, please say how much this addict NA friend from India cares for Jacob. And that there's mail for him on the way; should probably reach him next week.......
And in the meanwhile, Im sending an email to Chuck from Kettle informing him its Jacobs birthday.
