there is a chat room. we do not hold meetings anymore due to no one to chair them. but the chat is always open. i go in there sometimes to see if anyone shows up but no one usually does. and when the thing pops up when you enter the chat room click NO then it will work.

I don't know about you folks but,
Keep me Isolated and I (literally) dream of the burner.
Lock me up in treatment, and I count down the days to being reunited.
Sit me down at a rager, and the clouds tug at my heart strings but I can say no as long as Im substituted.
Show me a intelligent person I've come to respect SAVING the its bad mkay speach and talking/working through with me the sober of what I believe to be realistic benefits of clean livin' and I just might have a chance yet.
I've put myself through trial after trial to show myself I'm able to handle myself around using friends. I will accompany them through either some sort of sobriety, or mutually monitored moderation.
Operation lonely chat still in effect. I'm rockin' lone wolf status.
I hear yu man Josh..... Itd be hell if we have to do this alone.
In those days, 2 dozen years ago, we actually had a WSO-NA run group called Loner Group meeting by mail.
Far as I know, it saved the lives of 100's of isolated addicts around the world like me. Remember, these were days of snail mail.
And those that wrote letters of sharing to the meeting and got it published and those that read it were the membership of the Loner Group. And we kept each other clean and serene, come hell or high water until crisis passed.
And the intro to that group came from the IP 'The Loner; staying clean in isolation".
And many if us ot really God centered because we were loners, knowing that staying clean meant staying in God-Zone. Happily for many, including me, the NA Fellowship has grown in our respective areas. I have as many as 14 NA meetings a week to choose from............
What a wonderful world I live in !
