Uh... A drug is a drug and alcohol is a drug? As long as said aa "leader" recognizes it's NARCOTICS anonymous, that we will use phrases "drugs/use/clean/snort/inject" and other drug references.
We have both in my AA home group BUT the start of the meeting reading states " keep your sharing to the topic of alcoholism or alcohol problem" , something to that effect so its pretty clear.
It's very common now days to have dual addiction, we all work the 12 steps the same, some people who are only addicted to say drugs may not like hearing a drunk share but our common ism is the same .
I say stay on topic and if someone wanders just remind them of the type of meeting it is, AA or NA stay on topic..........
It is wrong to get an AA talker running NA.
