Hey Liz! Sorry for your less than stellar return to home.I do not know what you situation is but it may be time to think about getting out on your own, maybe with a relative,a small room etc..Our environments at times can be very detrimental to our psyche! If this is not possible because of finances or other situations I can only suggest not letting anyone 'steal your joy'Continue to work on a solution and keep your Higher Power first and foremost in your life.I know this may sound ridiculous but it is true sometimes what doesn't kill us(not literal)does make us stronger.I will keep you in prayer. If you are not making meetings or don't have a sponsor I can only suggest trying to find someone you can relate with and find support.Obviously using will only amplify crappy situations.I will lift you up in prayer and pray for some serenity ,guidance and strength to surround you life. For me,when I feel im being bombarded by trying situations or things just don't seem to be getting better,I reach out to help someone else.It gives me help and allows me to renew my focus,be grateful for even being alive at this point, and know that their is a plan I may just have to 'be still' and patient..LeT us know okay.........C YA.

I'm sure that if you have a respectable tie to your recovery community, you could room with a clean friend, recovery houses could be an option... But you know how chicks can be... All clique-y and catty. Or if you go to school you could get a grant to live on campus.
all my friends go to school over 4 hours away. i go to community college so no living on campus. i cant afford to live on my own.
but africa was awesome. we did a lot of construction on a school people i know started. we painted and put in huge water tanks to catch the rain water so that when the power is out they have water. we went on a safari drive saw lots of animals. giraffe, lions 10 feet away, elephants, hippo, antelope. took a boat ride on the nile river saw some crocs, hippos, elephants, bushbuck. lots of hiking. i miss those kids.

Glad you had a good time, sure the kids miss you also.I understand the difficulty of getting out of your present situation, but remain positive, keep that time you had there in your mind. There is a whole lot of world to see and people who will cheish their time with you.Seek and you will find..Just Don't Use and more will be revealed....Let us know how you are doing...You have my mail if you want to drop a line,,,stay in touch with support...Peace..... Do not forsake in the dark, what God (of your understanding) has shown you in the light............
