I am fairly new. At least to NA not so much AA. I live in Amherst NY. Any chance someone (FEMALE) lives out here that would want to sponsor me? I do not have a car and I am brand new to this state. I haven't made a meeting yet. Thanks smile

Hi Michelle and welcome.
I would encourage you to go to NA.org and follow the links to find your local helpline.
Addicts needing rides to meetings, or needing to talk to someone before "jumping into' the program
is part of the help offerred.
Earth group is no longer active, although it is possible that the email is.

not probably......but certainly..
earthgroupna is alive and well.

They sent me an email just last nite.
Amazing thing sponsorship is a feature...
They have links to sponsors all over mainland US.

I know a guy from my area that got a sponsor there and worked his
Steps and all......still is a sponsee 5 years later.....

It could work for any addict....
