I've reached out to those i know here, but no one has returned messages/calls. Probably because I'm a cronic relapser and no one wants to fool with me (once again)
Keep trying Tracy , They should remember they are or were addicts once and still are.It is there thing to help the addict who needs a meeting , no matter what .Anyone or all could relapse at any tie .I've seen it happen to newcomers or people with 30 years clean,that's why were all addicts . In the Basic Text it says that we are suppose to give back what was freely given to us . that means they should help you no matter what .I met a guy a few years ago who has 80 white keytags in 25 years,he finally got a one year keytag.No one gave up on him . I would get to that meeting raise your hand tell them you need help and tell them it says in the Basic Text to help others.Someone should be called on there actions.
There could be a million reasons why the people you know haven't gotten back to you. Have you tried the helplines for NA or AA? Go to NA.org and follow the links. Chronic relapsers are nothing new to either fellowship. There are several people I know with many years clean who have dozens of white key tags. prayer, meditation and the willingness to keep at it are keys to success. Thanks for sharing.
