I am unaware of the whole story but in recent days for me and my recovery, My higher power who I do call God, (earlier posting) has shown me that I will suffer rederick for my beliefs because I do not fall into believed political correctness. We all should study the birth of the Program as a whole (NA-AA-Oxford Group and it's foundation of principle). Like any institution, it's foundation is spoke of but iqnored because man's personal opinion begins to cloud it's truth and doesn't fit into today or "my program." I honor in the idea of being mocked, rediculed and anything of the sort for my belief because it means I'm doing something right. I give total respect to NA the spiritual principles (fundemental law) and it's members in regards to my faith, but I will not allow attacts to occur and will first tell as such then let you go like a bad habit.
I look forward to hearing from you Manon. It doesn't matter whether it's a joke, a simple share of news, or an expression of some pain you may be in. You are brave enough to share what's real in your life. Not just sweet sounding recovery speak, but pain, anger, and hurt as well as laughter and joy. You were here before me, so I have been reading your posts since day one. As far as I am concerned you are one of the most important members of this community. You have shown dedication to what goes on here for many years....that says alot about commitment. You always keep coming back and that in itself is a powerful message of recovery.
I agree she is one the most important members here. i miss our daily conversations that last for hours. now its a quick hey how are you maybe once a month. i dont know whats going on but i support you
