This is my first post. This is also the first day of my recovery. This past week, I partied like nobody's business. I avoided phone calls from my mother as well as those calls from my partner. My partner broke up with me today. I'm numb inside. I am thinking about going to an NA meeting tonight at the church. I have got to get a swift start on working things out.
Recovery begins when we look honestly at ourselves and admit we have a problem with drugs. Hope you can make it to a meeting soon--you will find much experience, strength and hope there.
