Today I will work my last SPEAKER JAM here in New York State. I will continue my service at the coffee commitment.Leaving  JAM early tonight as family coming over for my birthday celebration,cake and coffee as my wife and I going away for weekend .Not copping short here,but birthday is scheduled tomorrow,64 years, truly a miracle of God. The night of Dec. 1st,1984,one night before I totally surrendered after 25 years of oblivion(1959  and earlier) I wouldnt have given you a plug nickel seeing 40..It is thru the grace and mercy of my God,and learning to live the NA way ,life has blossomed,not all roses but the availabilty to "show up" face responsibly what situations occur and put into action our solution, the STEPS,guided by my Higher Power. We have 18 working days left before we up and move to Florida.I have decided to go out on Social Security and take it a day at a time when we get South.I am already hooked up with the MID COAST AREA of Narcotics Anonymous in Pompano beach and south Florida and am excited to be able to continue,probably even more so,in that area doing service and continuing to show up.. I had a CAT SCAN that revealed I have had total sinus blockage and the reason I have been sick since New Years.VA wanted me to go to BRONX MEDICAL and have surgery but I am going to wait till we get south and see how it goes. another opportunity to 'work on things...Life in recovery ,is truly a miracle and living the NA way is such a blessing.If you are new or just coming around,welcome,there is another way to live,we promise freedom from active addiction ,our message is HOPE!!!,takes some work and an ability to be open minded ,honest and willing.Welcome to all who continue to work their own process,guided by their own Higher Power ,a day at a time..Have a blessed and productive day, c ya on the rebound
