Spiritual Matters!

Good Morning and blessings of this day!

We are told that we suffer from an incurable disease of body ,mind and spirit. We were in the grip(are in the grip?) of a hopeless dilemma ,the solution of which is spiritual in nature. Today, as we have the "substance" put down ,we can go to work on those things to promote our spiritual fitness thru the apllication of our spiritual principles, the Steps, worked with a sponsor and guided by the God of our understanding! Reach out today and help someone, it will in turn come back to help you in many different ways.Though our purpose  thru  Narcotics Anonymous is to remain clean ,Just For Today ,and carry the message of recovery, as we continue to do the  work we see our ultimate purpose moving toward  being  of maximum service to God and others. If you are new  or just coming around to the program .welcome, stick around, give the fellowship, the program a chance,it is a lifesaving and changing process. If you been around for a few cups of coffee, welcome,we know that just putting the drug down is only the beginning, WE SEEK THE EXACT NATURE OF WHATS GOING ON WITH US, and work (11th step +) toward that goal. The grace and mercy of  God, for another day of life ,free from the horors of addiction,,,,,,man that famous philosopher from my era "Ralph Cramden) used to say "How sweet it is!!!!!smile

"The exact nature" sounds easy right?
NOT!.....I can and do tell myself all kinds of things to distort the truth about what is going with me at any given moment.
Becoming more in touch with my true self is an important part of my journey in recovery.
