just another day...

well its just another day, nothing to exciting happeningbut its another day clean and that makes this day new and fresh and worth so much.  im sitting on the back porch watching my grandchildren play in the yard...and when i think back to the days i was sitting in a room all by myself wearing the same clothes i had been wearing for 2 or 3 days thinking there has to be more to life then this.  well today i have 8 months clean again. and YES there is more to life than that...i'm living it today in my pajamas on the back porch watching my grandchildren laughing and playing living life to the fullest just for today.  I'm blessed with gifts my recovery is giving me...there is nothing better then this moment,right now.  i look forward to these moments of just simplicity...and tomorrow might not be this good but right now is what matters to me and tomorrow hasnt come yet...today i cherish what i have right now.  I couldnt ask for anything more.  so if you think that this might be all to life,  just hold on you might just be surprised to find that there is aint it isant all that much but just for now its priceless.!  hope you all can find beauty right now.  its right in front of you.  thats mall i have today hope it helps someone today!

btw i forgot to mention its 3 in the afternoon but at least i know the day and time and im not stressed. life is good!:)

thanks for sharing, it's nice to read something something positive when I have to get up so early in the morning, and think back to the days when I did not because I did not have anything to do but use, and it didn't matter when I got out of bed.
