Low self-esteem to good self-esteem and reverse,,, this can happen without warning.

When Im in comfort zone and feelin ok about myself, there comes the low tide....

Today it came when I was watchin X-Factor with my daughter.

Watchin those kids, its like I missed the bus and had to wait hellava long time fore I could  board another.

And now, though Im the bus again, it's full off kids that are lookin at me like Im a relic from that time zone.

This is when Faith's got to be practiced, else, Id never want to take my sax out of the case and blow it again.

Im greatful to NA that Im gettin to play my music clean, and entertain people and produce music with meaning !

Amen Raman! check the dude 59 years (young) and still going to auditions(and got a real gift)...thats perserverance,just as we practice...We are truly blessed ,at any level to sing, play or be a "joyful noise " to our creator!  One of my favorite spiritual writings "Praise God with the sounding trumpet,with harp and lyre,with tamboorine and dancing,with strings and flutes with the clash of cymbals(really like this)let everything that has breath bring this praise.........God knows the joyful noise in our hearts,whether we hit the correct notes really doesnt matter im sure...it is our willingness to bring it..........Peace my brother!!smile

Yes Mike,, that 59 year old was an inspiratiion.
Thanks for pointing that example.

I was completely moved when he says
"you know, if they lose, these kids can come back.
But for me man, this is it"...

Oh gosh, Im using that same phrase as
"This is it for me, I got a job, I love it and thats the pay-off"
