so loving this new way of life I've been blessed with cant wait to see what tomorrow has in store cause every day is different. although each is not always great its not the worst either so for those having a rough time keep your head up and remember you are loved all over the world and have plenty to be grateful for. I know that the god of my understanding is always gonna be there to protect and guide me in my dark hour so I pray for all those who are going through rough and seemingly impossible times and guess what this counrtyfied Cali girl Loves all you even if you dont know me cause we may have differences but to me we are all the same trying to get recovery from this painful disease of addiction. Good Luck and keep your head up we have already hit bottom now start reaching for the moon cause even if ya fall your bound to land on a star.

So Yeah thanks for all the positive feedback I'm a firm believer that you must give in what you want out of this program. If you just wanna float by and get that card signed COOL for you but for those who actually have stepped out of the denial and come to terms with the fact that we are powerless over our disease. WELCOME HOME!!!!!!!! I for one am SOOOO happy you're here cause without you I stand no chance. Like they say NA can make it without me but I can not make it without NA and you my friends are NA. I was sitting at work today and seen some old associates who were talking about going out for a girls night YEAH girls night we know where that goes drinks NO thanks. At first it was hard on me but I thought to myself you should be grateful your higher power just gave you a chance to prove your dedication to this new found way of life. Guess what I PASSED!!!!!! LOL I laugh at things like that because I know that life is to short to stress. I once heard this saying and kinda stuck it in my pocket for later use ..... Why worry if you're gonna pray and why pray if you're gonna freaking worry..... its like playing tug-O-war with the god of your understanding and don't you think he has enough on his plate as is. Now I don't wanna sound all NA cheerleader like and all but I can't help but pump it up...BUT please do not get the wrong idea that just because I found a new way to live in NA that life stays perfect and all wonderland like cause it doesn't and thats okay cause we have each other to lean on in our tough times. Remember that yes if you relapse we still love you and want you to come back but relapse in my head IS NOT A REQUIREMENT you have a choice to stick it out use the phone list find a sponsor work steps and make it through ur dark times with your recovery in tack or go out and use I pray you never feel you have to use again. If you haven't noticed in our active addiction we did not have much to choose from it for me was already a known plan day to day go use find more so it repeated.....Now in my recovery I have a million different choices for how I go through my day. WOW how I'm loving it. But now I am rambling so LOVE YALL and keep them heads held high. NA...... NEVER ALONE....NEVER AGAIN>>>>Much Love and respect to my new family<<<<<<<<<
When I use to think that 'going out' with friends who want to drink to have fun........ I ask myself how much fun was I having if i HAD to drink/use to have fun?
What did that say about the quality of my fun?
If I couldn't have 'fun' without drinking was I really still having fun? When did the fun stop, and the obsession compulsion take over??
