It used to work fine now I don't get an email of the new topics etc. I subscribed to the whole forum. Has anything changed or perhaps my settings are wrong?
Looks like if you go into your member profile theres a spot that says " posts" then look for " subscription" and thats where you'll see if your subscirbed, you can add search words, i've never used it and not really sure it works, I'll subscribe and see.
you can also UN subscribe if you choose.

yes I see that but I am talking about subsribing to the "whole forum" and not individual topics. When you log in there is a button below that says "subscribe". when you press that button it indicates that you are now subscribed to this forum. I did that before and an email was sent for each new post. what it did for me is it helped keep me conscious of recovery. Not sure what changed.
This forum is not so heavily trafficed that I ever felt the need for notifications. I simply have saved it to my favorites toolbar and check it routinely once or perhaps twice a day. The forum topics that i have read are in black...those with new posts are in white. Makes it very easy to know which threads have posts i have not read. Hope this helps, because as you can see your 'bump' does not bring the thread back to the top.
I simply used the feature to get the topic emailed to me when at work so I can at least see the topic, I cant actually go to the board at work because of websense but it keeps me connected. And I am no different than anyone else on here, can't do it alone and need all the help I can get.
It still works for some of my friends no problem.And since june 26th 33 posts have shown up.
So I am guseeing on this site that there is one admin and a couple of mods but mods don't have any power to look into forum settings?
