There was a little boy who walked by a pet store and seen a box full of puppies in the window. They were really cute and playful and happy..then he noticed one which was all by himself back in the corner. The little boy went into the pet store and asked the store owner how much the puppies were. The store owner said the puppies were $2.50. So the little boy dug in his pocket and pulled out $2.50 and put it on the counter...The store owner took him to the puppies so he could pick one out. The little boy looked at all the puppies playing and jumping around..then he pointed to the puppy alone in the corner and said "I want that one"..the store owner said "Oh I'm sorry, that puppy isn't for sale..you see, when he was born, his hip was broke and he can't really run and jump and he walks with a limp and sometimes he falls"..The little boy looked at the puppy and said "Mr. that's the puppy I want"..So the store owner said "well ok..but I wouldn't feel right in charging you full price for a defective puppy thats not as good as the other ones, so just pay me a dollar"..The little boy said "No..I want that puppy and I want to pay you the full $2.50"..Surprised, and not sure what to say..the owner took the boys $ and gave him the puppy. As the boy walked out of the store with his new puppy, the store owner came after him and said "hey kid..why was it so important that you have that puppy?"..The kid looked at him and pulled up his pant leg in which he wore a leg brace and he said.."Well Mr...you see, when I was born, my hip was broke. I can't really run and jump and I walk with a limp and sometimes I fall. Me and this puppy will get along just fine because we know that when one of us falls, the other will be there when we get back up, and if one of us falls a little behind, the other one will be there to encourage us to keep going no matter what..because we understand what it's like to be a little different.
