Just read in our journal up here in PK NEW YORK,that all tours and show dates for AMY were cancelled and after her debacle on stage last week(see previous web blog farther down on site),Lets hope she can Rehab and start a new way of life. I know this may be an outside issue but Im typing it from outside!Any suffering addict need not suffer the horrors of addiction when there is help available......

Her music is so great....I am such a fan of old school R&B, soul and jazz singers. I keep praying that she gets it together, but this girl's addiction is killing her.
God Bless all the addicts, wherever they may be bless those unfortunates who are most in need of recovery, Look pon them with compassion and mecry and bring them all into this wonderful Fellowship, that only through you they (and amy) may find what we and countless others have found.
Bless those that are clean today and give Grace to those on their way, but God, please show compassion and mercy to those who may never come.....
Take our will and our lives, Guide us in our recovery, Show us how to live the NA Way !!!!

It is really sad, I saw the video of the concert last nite. The question I would like awnsered is, "Where is her manager or publistist and why didn't anyone do anything about it. It wasn't hard to see that she was in no shape to put on a show and by letting her go out there like that so that they will have a few extra dollars in her pocket is crazy. If their was anyone around her that really cared for her then they would have canceled the show and tried to stage an intervention.
No one knows what went on before she stepped out on that stage.
No one forced her to get high. No one is responsible for her recovery except her.
Step one "We admitted we were powerless over our addiction and our lives had become unmanagable." Being powerless over other people is part of that.
I really like Amy Winehouse. Her music is just my style. Her addiction is painful to witness, but no one can "make" her seek recovery. Hopefully she will join us before it's too late.
