Ok so I went again today to a meeting place. And the meeting wasn't held because of Memorial Day. I kinda expected that but was determined to at least try. I took a nap and a shower and went. So I guess I will try again tomorrow! I am taking this on I swear it!! Ive had 2 strikes with the meetings not happening, 3 times a charm right. At least I got a shower in...lolsmile

Sorry to hear that,in our area there is never a night closed(upstate NeW yORK)I just left a meeting after a large Memorial day party was held during the day.Turn out was awesome for a holiday weekend....Good attitude ,keep on trying,let us know how it went peace....smilesmile.

Way to keep trying. It sucks when a meeting isn't open. Please keep coming back and keep trying.

That's kind of lame that they didn't have the meeting because of Memorial Day. Most of the meetings I go to still meet during holidays. I used during the holidays, so why not go to meetings then too?

Meetings in our area are never cancelled because of holidays, but unfortunately sometimes the meeting place tells us we can't meet because they are hosting some kind of event.
I'm glad you are sticking to it.
Keep coming back and in no time you will be plugged into the NA grapevine in your area and this shouldn't happen again.

I've never met a connection who was closed on holidays so it saddens me when I see a meeting closed...
