So in my area there are no late night meetings. I do know from talking to others in the fellowship around here that a late night meeting would be helpful to many of us addicts. I really was wondering the best/right way to do this. I appreciate any input anyone might be able to give me.
On a side note: if you are from the pacific northwest, i hope to see u at WNIRNACA 27 at the Hilton Hotel in Vancouver, WA.
If you think The 'couve has enough demand and support for a late night meeting go for for it. I'd advise getting a commitment, like 6 month commitment, from a couple others so you are not the only Group officer initially and solely responsible for opening/closing etc. Secure a location, get some basic literature (like readings) announce it a ASC and get it on the schedule there you go.
On a side side note me thinks you meant WNIRCNA XXVI, #27 is 2012 in Oregon.

Besides commitment, you also need publicity. Once you're up and running, get in touch with your local NA area and ask to be in the meeting directory. Good luck!
We are starting a meeting in my town on Wednesday. We printed up flyers to send around to the different groups around the area, as well as on the local bulletin boards. Instead of putting an individual's phone number on it, we put our region's helpline number and website.
We are also posting these awesome flyers our region's PI folks made up. It says, "If you want to use drugs, that's your business. If you want to stop, that's ours. Narcotics Anonymous. We can help." then it has the phone number, web address, and little tear off things on the bottom. Pretty sweet!
