im 23 and new to all of this. im a waiting list for rehabs in tn that are state funded and was wondering if anyone knew of any state funded rehab centers nearby states. ive been on narcotics for almost 6 years and sick of it all. ive tried numerous times trying to get off and i just find myself back on them at an even worse level than before. right now ive reached my at most worst, taking 8-10 10mg tabs a day and detoxing at home isnt an option anymore. i have to many contacts and not enough support so thats why ive decided rehab would be the best route. if i could get any help before hand thatd be awesome
If you go to a few meetings in your area you will learn about the 12 step recovery program called Narcotics Anonymous that has worked so well for so many. Alot of the people in the meetings will have been through rehabs and can give you suggestions. Good luck and keep coming back.
Welcome! Regular NA meeting attendance is a good idea once you complete rehab. Recovery from drug addiction is a lifelong process that we do one day at a time.
