I just wanted to give you all the update on my kids being home everything is going well so far. Just alot of work keeping up this house I kno its an everyday job but I just want to make sure that everything is perfect for the cps so that they cant find a reason to come out and take my kids again. my youngest child is living in fear now he crys everyday he goes to school and the teacher asks him whats wrong and he says he afraid that they will come out and get him again and you dont know how bad this makes me feel. but other than that its all good. and Im still clean and sober Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very true What Dave shared above, the more longer I stayed clean, the more things got better... problems/crises/issues that I had when I was a few days clean were not as devastating or intense as they were when I was a few weeks or months clean, and overtime, it did get better. My issues were there, but always different as per where I stand in life and recovery, and my perception and response to them changed.
It does get better as we continue to stay clean and work the Program in our lives, I guess that's why they say in the fellowship that a day clean is a day won, because it adds to our strengths, our faith and courage increases... with the help of the 12 Steps, I've learned to make use of them to face and deal with my issues today, NA truly works!
