geeze we had over 2 feet of snow yesterday and then it warmed up and thunderstormed last night (so nice to hear an actual storm instead of a blizzard) but this morning the house was flooded. no heat and no hot water. so i went to work. the barn was flooded. all the stalls were flooded. the indoor arena was flooded. i have never seen so much water in my entire life! then i hear on the news they were evacuating people and some damn let loose and cities like 20 mins away were all flooded and people were fleeing. i am so cold. i feel like an ice cube. please let the heat come back on soooooon.

I'm sorry the flooding started so soon... we're looking at monster floods this spring. I have a back-up sump pump for our basement. Doubtful it will stay dry regardless. We've had more snow and rain in the last year than I can ever remember. (I'm in SW Minnesota)
Our homegroup took turns bailing each others basements out last fall. Talk about unity! And lots of coffee to go around! :)
Hear ya! Liz! driveway up in here is mudpies.porch roof leaking and creeks are high! But i also see the turkeys moving and the deer looking under the snow to the grass thats appearing..I am begging up here to "turn the heat off'(THATS OIL HEAT) utilities are killing us in our little house on the praire.HEATING OIL 3>49 PER GALLON /CENTRAL HUDSON 170 PER MONTH.,,,,GOOD THING WE ARE RICH IN SPIRIT!!! :) :) LET THE SUNSHINE IN,LET THE SUNSHINE IN.... THE SUN,SHINE IN!!!
