Funny thing Don and Mike, I wasnt scared even one bit,,, and i loved the attention of the 200 odd onlookers. And of course, the awe and admiration in Sylvie's eyes ...... a moment etched in time, like....
Haha Lee,,, the first thing is the fangs were pulled out, so it cannot strike poison.
However, Sylvie just recoiled from it, in fact she even refused to click a snap; i then had to plead with her..
The irony is that these snakes usually strike only when provoked... and that provocation can come without being designed.
Like, I may be walking a path where lies a snake and may pass it by without even knowing it was there. Or I may stamp that snake without knowing it was there and thats when they usually strike.
God for me that knowing was a lesson; many times in these relationships with people, Ive allowed the resentment/anger-snake to strike as an immediate reaction, not realizing that people were not intending to step over me. They were just doing what they were doing and I just happened to be in the way and got stamped on.
The book on forgiveness is eagerly awaited !!! Another gateway to Serenity and emotional recovery looms ahead !!!
