love picture #7 on the first post...interesting....reminds me of something a "hobbit" would live in :).....picture #3 on your second post is lovely.....i have taken shots of old windows with vines or just plain old windows with chipped paint and glass that has been shattered.....these are fantastic! Thanks for sharing them with me

You are so fortunate to be able to travel to so many beautiful and interesting places, and to find NA pretty much wherever you go. It must be really hard at times, just with the drinking/drugging environment that often surrounds musicians in big venues.

Yes Lee,, its true that each time im in an event with the crowd being entertained with not only music and other acts but liquor too,, the defences are up.
It is not easy to relax around band and clients that drink and sometimes it makes no sense to be there.
This time around, the girlfriend was a beer-babe; I never got to feel cosy or really intimate with her.
It certainly is an intimidating atmosphere, but what I do is channelize that energy into the music and creativity !

There are however two things Ive understood about me;
1. I love music and have doen this for decades, both as hobby and professional.
2. I know no other way to earn a living...

So I balance out my thinkin with thoughts like
" This is my profession so I must act professional"
This means enjoyin what I do, doin what I do to the best of my ability and be there at these events with that focus.

Bein at these lovely locales also compromises any hazards I may have faced...

For example; If I had been a tourist/traveller, then what I did in the Anfamans for 15 days woul have costed me in the reigon of 2000 plus dollars.
Bein there as a saxophonist, I not only ot that free, I as able to take Syl. along for free and also ot paid in the bargain..

Im really greatful for what Ive been given via NA !!!!!
